Africa Education Watch is an Education Policy Research and Advocacy Organization working with Civil Society Organizations, Governments, and the Private Sector to promote an equitable, accountable, and responsive education system that assures quality and equal opportunities for all.
The education ‘think-tank’ has warned the general public about the fraudulent activities of some persons who promise to be GES associates hence can compromise the Computerize Schools Selection and Placement System (CSSPS).
According to the organization, many scammers are parading as School Placement Contractors, promising to change your wards’ school for you. Note that once auto-placed, you cannot change your school.
It has therefore urged the general public not fall victims to these scammers.
In a post, they disclosed how some teachers were duped with an attempt to beat the system during the teachers’ recruitment process.
“They did same to many teachers during the teacher postings. They took GH 2,000 each and left them stranded”, they bemoaned.
Meanwhile, the organization believes no school is bad. It is all about the attitude of Students and parents.
